How to Get to Jauri Resort
Jauri Resort is located in Kemijärvi, on the shores of Lake Pöyliöjärvi in Eastern Lapland, Finland. The resort is easy to reach by plane, train, or car.

Jauri Resort can be reached easily via two main airports in Lapland.
Rovaniemi Airport (Rovaniemi International Airport)
The closest major airport is Rovaniemi Airport, located approximately 81 km from Jauri Resort. The drive takes about 1 hour.
Rovaniemi has year-round scheduled flights from Helsinki, as well as seasonal international connections from several European cities.
From the airport, you can continue your journey by:

Kuusamo Airport
Kuusamo Airport is another convenient option, located approximately 145 km from Jauri Resort. Driving time is about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Kuusamo offers regular flights from Helsinki and additional seasonal routes during peak travel periods.
Transfers
We are happy to organize station transfers upon request. We can also arrange private transfers from Rovaniemi or Kuusamo Airport directly to Jauri Resort upon request.
Arriving by train
A daily overnight train runs from Helsinki to Kemijärvi, making it one of the most popular and comfortable ways to travel to Finnish Lapland.
Kemijärvi Railway Station is located approximately 1.6 km from Jauri Resort.
From the station, you can reach the resort by:

Arriving by car
Jauri Resort is easy to reach by car throughout the year. Roads in Finland are well maintained, and driving conditions are generally good in all seasons.

During winter, we recommend allowing extra travel time and preparing for changing weather conditions.
International travel to Lapland
Jauri Resort is easily accessible for international travelers as well.
Most common routes:
- Flight to Helsinki
- Connecting flight to Rovaniemi or Kuusamo
- Transfer or rental car to Kemijärvi
Alternatively, you can travel by train directly from Helsinki to Kemijärvi.
